Not long now

Plans for the move are steam-rolling ahead so much so that there has been precious little time for blogging so here's just some highlights (where I happened to have the camera) of the last few weeks.
Gaylene gets stuck in!!!
Josh and Grace invited us around for a last Chinese meal. This time we agreed we would help with the cooking (its the best way to learn) of which we have photographic evidence below. As always, the food was FANGtastic!!

Sat 7th Wes and Adele treated us to a "farewell and thanks for the huge desk" breakfast at the Wimpy before we all headed of to Rob and Moira's wedding which was great. Sunday Gaylene and I headed to a Chalumna River for a final fishing expedition. Hopes were high that I would eventually shatter all previous records and actually catch a legal size grunter. After a cold afternoon in the boat, the fishing tally read something like this:

Blaasoppies x3

Baby barbel x2

Barbel spine into Walt's finger x1

Don't know which was worse, the cut finger or having to suck it to get the "poison out". Thanks for the "advice" JD!

Sat 14th saw our parents come up to EL to assist in moving some of our stuffs back to EL. G and I started the day with tea at sunrise on Nahoon and could ask but one question.... "why don't we do this more often?"

Proof that my wife actually is a morning person!

A huge thanks to the folks for all their efforts. You guys were great! Some pics of the stars below:

And after all the moving activities, Mrs Fyvie found time in PE for a quick nap on her salon bead (or is that a "sun bed") before heading back to EL for the last few days.

I am impressed with your web pg, good shots of Gaylene, your parents and friends. I liked the humour especially, 'my wife is a morning person' photo, but can she jump that high? Nice to follow your progress and good luck with the move. You won't be back! The travel bug has bitten and you will be earning real money-Pounds! Pamela Walker
